National Nursing Home Week helps to educate the public about long-term care facilities.  This year’s theme is “Enriching Every Day”, which was selected to honor those who overcome the obstacles of age and disability to enrich the lives of others.  Learn more in this article from SCNOW.

Life expectancy in the United States is at a record high and currently there are nearly 2 million people in the United States living in nursing homes and assisted care facilities. This number will do nothing but continue to grow, increasing the need to provide quality care and recognize the individuals who make a difference in others’ lives.
