The annual Geri Olympics will be held on Friday April 24, 2009 in West Virginia at the South Charleston Community and Recreation Center.  This event has 150 athletes and 16 nursing homes scheduled to participate.  Read this inspiring article from The West Virginia State Journal.

The West Virginia Geri Olympics brings senior athletes from all over the state to compete in fun, safe sporting events that make everyone a winner. Events include basketball, horseshoe pitching, marksmanship, candle blowing, bowling, obstacle course racing, and wheelchair races.
