College Students Entertain at Local Nursing Home
Indiana State University Students preformed songs for a local nursing home. These types of activities bring such great joy and laughter to residents in a long-term care facility. You can watch the fun video and read the full article from The Indiana Statesmen.
The members of the Spring Week Committee, as well as members of ISU’s Greek community, performed songs such as “I Will Survive,” “Super Freak,” “My Girl” and “R.E.S.P.E.C.T.”
“Anytime we can get young people to come in, [the residents] enjoy it,” said Ruth Krout, activities director at Meadows Manor North. “It’s a part of life they miss being around. They miss the interaction.”
